The Hoya Prond Ex 64 62mm filter reduces the amount of light passing through the lens by 6 stops. When shooting video outdoors, it adjusts shutter speeds to match the frame rate, maintaining the required depth of field. In moving object shots, it achieves motion blur that offers a cinematic feel to the image. For photography applications, it allows the use of longer exposures or the achievement of a shallow depth of field in bright sunlight.

The ProND EX 64 filter uses Hoya's ACCU-ND technology to prevent color shift and provide consistent image quality. The ACCU-ND ensures equal light reduction in both the visible and infrared spectrum, thus preventing color changes under different outdoor conditions. Additional ND filters can be stacked on the front, or a lens cap with threading or another filter can be attached.
