The rear Reel Expert hubs are an advanced model of the renowned Reel Pro V.2, which was available in the Dartmoor collection. They are designed for even greater durability and reliability, featuring a modern system with a wide flange and up to 108 engagement points. This solution handles exceptionally well the high loads generated by modern motors, especially during steep climbs with cassettes that have the largest 51T and 52T sprockets. Each pawl has two teeth that engage simultaneously with the ring, resulting in faster engagement and increased mechanism durability.

The rear Reel Expert hubs are available in four versions compatible with Shimano HG, Shimano Microspline, and SRAM XD freehubs. Three of the standard models are equipped with a lightweight and durable 7075 aluminum axle. A special edition dedicated to electric bikes features a Cr-Mo steel axle and Shimano HG Cr-Mo steel freehub, capable of easily handling the loads produced by the electric bike drive units.

All rear Reel Expert hubs use high-quality sealed bearings bearing the Dartmoor logo. The Mobil synthetic grease effectively protects the mechanism from mud, water, and dust, ensuring smooth and long-lasting performance. The versions with Shimano HG and SRAM XD freehubs have 5 bearings, while the Shimano Microspline models have up to 6 bearings, further enhancing the hub’s durability and smooth operation.
