The Level One GVM-2001 media converter converts a 1×RJ-45 copper connection (10/100/1000Base-T) to a 1×SC multimode fiber connection (1000Base-SX). It supports management for configuration and monitoring, as well as Link Fault Pass-through (LFP), IEEE 802.3x flow control, and jumbo frames up to 9K. The optical connection operates at 850 nm and supports distances of up to 500 m.
