Description

The texts of this book… "were not intended for a book," as the author reveals in his Introduction. They were written over a long period, from 2008 to 2025, and in four different cities in our country, where the visual artist Achilleas Razis worked as an Art teacher. They were born from his desire to record incidents, images, and impressions from his wanderings and, through them, to speak about what he loves.

Love, however, is a melting pot that fuses what we love, and so, at some point, these independent texts, about small and big things that, at first glance, may not seem related, demanded and acquired a unified voice. Accompanied by sketches by the creator himself and photos from his archive, they are a testament of faith "in something perhaps undefined, but bright […] something steady that is sought, like a lit canteen in the middle of nowhere."
