The Helikon Tex UTS Flex 8.5" shorts are the summer version of the Urban Tactical Flex Pants and are designed for use in urban environments and high-mobility activities.

The model retains the well-known functionality of the Urban Tactical line, with many practical pockets and an ergonomic design. The relaxed fit and elastic VersaStretch inserts in the crotch and rear waistband area ensure high comfort and freedom of movement even in high temperatures.

The shorts are made from NYCO Ripstop fabric, composed of 50% nylon and 50% cotton, offering high resistance to wear and good breathability. The fabric has a weight of 225 g/m² and is suitable for use in warm climates.

The pockets are strategically placed so that the weight of the gear remains close to the body's center of gravity, reducing fatigue when carrying items. The front pockets feature reinforced edges for use with clip-on tools such as a flashlight or knife. The front thigh pockets with hook & loop closure can hold a mobile phone or an AR-type magazine.
