The Freewell Pro SSD Link adapter connects M.2 2230 NVMe drives to a smartphone or computer via USB-C and supports capacities up to 8 TB. The USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface transfers data at speeds of up to 10 Gb/s, while UASP and TRIM technologies support SSD operation. It allows direct recording of 4K ProRes video to an external SSD and is compatible with iPhone 15 Pro and newer models, as well as the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.

The two additional USB-C ports support up to 100 W PD pass-through charging and digital audio; the audio port does not support analog signals. The active fan with an aluminum heatsink turns on at 35°C. The MagSafe magnetic mount with a non-slip silicone surface secures the adapter to compatible smartphones, camera mounts, and gimbals. A flat 10 Gb/s USB-C cable is included.
