The RJ11 / Jack telephone-type cable tester identifies cable paths, as well as breaks or damaged sections. In CONT mode, it checks for open circuits and short circuits, while in TONE mode it generates an audible signal to locate cables using the non-contact probe. It also checks the status and polarity of a telephone line via the RJ11 socket.
The set includes a transmitter with TONE, OFF and CONT modes and indicator lights, as well as a receiver with a test button, volume control, headphone jack and probe. It is suitable for telephone, network, coaxial, audio and automotive cables. Do not connect it to live circuits or cables.
