Description

Description

This is not a literary book. It is a completely true text that describes the feelings, thoughts, reactions, and events of about twenty specific days. During these twenty days, this is what I experienced, this is what I felt, this is what I thought, this is what I shouted, this is what I did.

This text was written spontaneously, directly, and without interruption. It wrote itself in about four days, when what happened occurred. Aside from post-hoc spelling corrections, not a single word was changed from the initial direct-automatic recording. It was not polished afterwards, it was not rounded off, and the content or phrasing was not edited. It remained raw and unrefined.

This text is a reaction, a need, a refuge, an action that I did not decide. This text was not written to be published. I wish this text had never been written. This text was written by me for my Dad, from me for myself, but also for all Dads, for all sons, for all Moms-partners, for all daughters… For those sacred bonds…

  • Paper quality
  • Was it easy to read?
  • Was it interesting enough?
  • I liked the writing style
  • I would recommend it for reading
  • Touching. Rarely will a son document on paper his separation from his parent indicating what this may mean for his personal development.

I cried a lot with this book, maybe because I also recently lost my father and I sympathize... Wonderfully written, small in length but everything it says is sufficient, it tightens your heart and doesn't let go until its last sentence. A wonderful companion in the process of mourning
