The welding mask protects against any splashes during welding, as well as against splashes of solid particles during cleaning and inspection of welds. The welding filters are 2.5 mm thick, while the protective lenses are made of 2 mm glass and 1 mm polycarbonate. The TS-50 type mask consists of a body made of plastic, with a frame incorporating a plastic handle, where the filters and protective lenses are installed. All parts of the mask are connected to each other by special rods that form an integral part of the mask body and are joined by a welding method. The TS-50 mask, when assembled with the necessary welding filters and outer protective lenses, is designed to protect the eyes, face, and neck from the radiation generated during electric welding.
