The Fenix 18650 2300 mAh rechargeable batteries (ARB-L2M) are based on lithium-ion technology and are characterized by very high capacity. Lithium-ion batteries do not suffer from memory effect or self-discharge, making them ideal for energy storage.

The battery protection includes internal safety mechanisms and protective electronic systems that prevent overcharging, overdischarging, and short circuits. When the electronics determine that the limits have been reached, they safely disconnect the cell. The battery also includes PTC thermal protection and a special explosion-proof valve.

The battery has:

  • Nominal voltage: 3.6 V
  • Capacity: 2300 mAh (tested with a discharge current of 0.2C)
  • Maximum current consumption: 2C (4.6 A)
  • Maximum charging current: 0.9C (2 A)
  • Lifespan: more than 500 charge cycles
  • Recommended operating temperatures: 0-45°C (charging), -20 to +60°C (discharging)
