The PRS SE Studio Standard Sage Green is a double-cutaway solid-body electric guitar designed for a wide tonal range and ergonomic versatility in studio and live performance settings. The body is made entirely of solid mahogany (All-Mahogany), with a Shallow Violin Carve top and a gloss finish. The set mahogany neck features the ergonomic Wide Thin profile and is paired with a 10-inch-radius rosewood fingerboard, 22 Medium Jumbo frets, and traditional PRS Birds inlays. The electronics feature an HSS configuration, with a 58/15 LT "S" humbucker at the bridge and two Narrowfield "S" pickups in the middle and neck positions, complemented by a 5-way blade selector and a push-pull coil-split switch. The hardware is rounded out by the patented PRS Patented Tremolo and PRS-Designed sealed tuning pegs.

All-Mahogany Body Construction & Studio Ergonomics

The body follows PRS's traditional Standard platform and is crafted entirely from selected solid mahogany (Solid All-Mahogany). Using mahogany exclusively, without an additional top, delivers warm acoustic resonance, extended natural sustain, and a balanced low-midrange response. The Shallow Violin Carve on the front, combined with the comfortable contours on the back of the body, provides a stable center of gravity and a comfortable position for the picking hand whether playing standing or seated. The glossy Sage Green finish effectively protects the wood from moisture and surface abrasion, combining a modern aesthetic with a classic profile.

Wide Thin Neck & Rosewood Fingerboard

The neck is made from a single piece of mahogany and joins the body with a glued Set-Neck joint, maximizing the contact area for direct transfer of acoustic vibrations. It is shaped to the ergonomic Wide Thin profile, measuring 20.6 mm thick at the 1st fret and 22.6 mm at the 12th fret, offering comfortable palm support and speed when shifting positions. The rosewood (Rosewood) fingerboard has a 10" (254 mm) radius and PRS’s distinctive intermediate 25" (635 mm) scale length, balancing string tension. It features 22 Medium Jumbo frets with the classic PRS Birds inlays.

Electronics 58/15 LT “S,” Narrowfield “S” & Mounting Hardware

The electronics feature a Studio-style pickup configuration, combining a low-output PRS 58/15 LT "S" humbucker at the bridge for vintage PAF clarity and crunch with two PRS Narrowfield "S" pickups in the middle and neck positions. The Narrowfield pickups deliver the distinct articulation and bite of single-coil pickups while fully canceling hum. The 5-way blade switch and the Push-Pull Coil-Split switch on the Master Tone control provide instant access to authentic single-coil tones. The hardware includes the patented PRS Patented Tremolo and PRS-Designed sealed tuners, ensuring smooth vibrato operation and stable tuning.
