The amalgam rubber tape, self-vulcanizing G-509, is a general-purpose insulating tape in black color, measuring 50mm x 10m. It is used for connecting and repairing electrical cables up to 46kV, as well as for sealing.

It has excellent physical and electrical properties, with a high degree of stability under humid conditions.
