Description

The grounding rod has been laboratory tested according to the EN 50164-2 standard. It is made of steel, which is electrogalvanized with a coating thickness of 254mm. The rod features threading on both ends, allowing it to be extended using a copper alloy extension connector.

  • Environmental aging according to the ELOT EN 50164-2 standard:
    • Salt mist atmosphere (3 days)
    • Sulfur dioxide acidic atmosphere (7 days)
  • Breaking tension (tensile strength): 600 - 770N/mm²
  • Elastic/plastic deformation ratio: 0.80 – 0.95
  • Electrical resistivity:
  • Coating thickness: > 250μm
