LightWool is the lightest product from Aclima, made from the finest Merino wool. The garment is made from 17.5-micron fibers with a weight of only 140g/m². The advantage of wool is that it offers better heat regulation and moisture absorption compared to synthetic fibers.
One of the special characteristics of Merino wool is its ability to provide warmth even when the fibers are wet. It uses moisture to generate heat, a process that occurs at the molecular level when the fibers become saturated with water.
Merino wool maintains odor neutrality for many days by creating a barrier against bacteria. It is comfortable against the skin, provides warmth when it is cold, and at the same time has a cooling effect on warm days.
