The Scarpa Manta Tech GTX mountaineering boots are an exceptionally well-known model that has been around for over three decades. As a multi-award-winning model, it has set the standard for four-season boots. The sole maintains stability with a proven, durable, and reliable construction that matches the working nature of the boot, while grip on the ground is ensured by the flexible Vibram Mulaz S outsole.
Key changes focus on the upper, where the lines have been simplified, reducing seams and materials, while maintaining a perfect balance of flexibility and support around the ankle area. The use of a larger heel loop makes it easier to put on and take off the boot, even with gloves. The partial use of TPU material has helped both the aesthetics and weight reduction, along with the new self-adjusting lacing system. A major update is the use of higher GORE-TEX Insulated Comfort insulation, allowing the boots to perform at higher altitudes and in colder conditions than previous generations.
