The Xenon Tri-Lock features the same shape as the Xenon HMS carabiner. Its pear-shaped geometry has been optimized for weight, strength, and durability, while the specially designed Keylock mechanism facilitates the removal of jammed knots. The wide pear shape allows for secure handling of the rope, making it ideal as a central anchor point for multi-pitch descents.

The addition of the automatic Tri-Lock mechanism enhances safety by ensuring it is not forgotten to be locked. The Xenon Tri-Lock is also available with a gear locking device to keep the carabiner in the correct position and prevent cross-loading.
