The Salewa Alpinist Pro is a versatile and durable crampon made from stainless steel, ideal for technical ice climbing, mixed routes, and general mountaineering. Suitable for vertical ice routes in Pustertal as well as tough alpine mixed routes.

It features a frame constructed from carbon steel with 3D sections, in a semi-rigid, strong, and lightweight design for attachment to boots with heels and toes, including ski boots. The geometry and semi-automatic secondary points are designed to provide better grip on ice and snow, while additional secondary points in the middle of the foot offer extra security on icy ridges.

Additionally, the unique straps of the crampon, which are adjustable in length, reduce the risk of cutting compared to traditional straps. The Pro version also includes the Salewa Lock System.
