BIBS Colour pacifiers are made from latex, a material derived from the liquid of the rubber tree (Hevea). This liquid is processed to produce latex – a durable, elastic, and soft material with a texture similar to that of a mother’s breast.

• The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes its mouth, adapting its shape to the natural form of the baby’s oral cavity.
• The nipple is made from 100% natural latex.
• The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby’s skin.
• The shield is made from 100% safe and tested PP, designed with 3 holes to allow air circulation.

Cleaning and sterilizing the pacifier: Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized.

Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C. For this reason, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, with steam, in a UV sterilizer, or in sterilizing solutions.

Pacifier sterilization includes 3 simple steps:

• Place the pacifier in a clean bowl.
• Pour hot water over the pacifier and leave it to soak for 5 minutes.
• Remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry.

If water has entered the nipple (through the valve), squeeze the nipple with a towel until the water is expelled.
