The Pentair DGD-2501 replacement water filter for the main water supply features a multilayer polypropylene fiber construction, with a pre-filter rated at 25 μm. Its progressive filtration captures suspended particles, sediment, dirt, and rust. It is suitable for Pentair Big Blue 10" filter housings and can be installed in either direction.

The filter is made from Food Grade polypropylene and has been tested and certified by NSF International to NSF/ANSI 42 for its construction materials. The maximum water flow rate is 2,280 liters per hour, while the operating pressure ranges from 0.7 to 8.6 bar.
