The essential oil of black tea tree is derived from the branches and leaves of the Melaleuca bracteata plant, through steam distillation. It has a colorless to pale yellow hue and a strong, characteristic aroma. It is widely used in cosmetology as well as pharmaceutical products.

- Safe use: It is recommended to use with a carrier oil (e.g. almond oil, jojoba) in a ratio of 10ml carrier oil to up to 5 drops of essential oil.
- Precaution is advised for use by pregnant women, children under 5 years old, and individuals with heart conditions or high blood pressure.
- Store in a dry and cool place, away from children.
The use of citrus essential oils combined with sun exposure may cause skin irritation.
