Description

ZOOLEK aquarium salt is an effective agent for combating diseases in aquarium fish. It has antibiotic, antiparasitic, and anticancer properties, while also improving the condition of the fish. These qualities make it ideal as a booster, medicine, and supportive agent for other products used in aquaristics.

The salt is non-iodized, does not contain anti-caking agents, and its composition has been laboratory tested. ZOOLEK salt is also a source of vital trace elements such as magnesium, manganese, iron, zinc, copper, calcium, selenium, and potassium. It is ideal for preparing water in tanks with vegetation and fauna from habitats with high salinity, such as mangrove habitats and river estuaries.

Fish that love saltwater include:

  • archerfish (Toxotes)
  • mudskippers (Periophthalmus)
  • four-eyed fish (Anableps)
  • monos (Monodactylus)
  • scat fish (Scatophagus)
  • gobies (Gobiidae)
  • shark catfish (Arius)

Usage Instructions:

  • Short bath: for fish living in hard water – 10-20 g/l for 10-30 minutes; for fish living in soft water – 5-10 g/l for 10-20 minutes.
  • Long bath: for fish living in hard water – 3-5 g/l for 3-5 days; for fish living in soft water – 1-3 g/l for 3-5 days.
  • Preventive bath (quarantine): 3 g/l for 1 hour.

Tips: 1 tablespoon is approximately 14 g of salt, 1 teaspoon is approximately 7 g of salt. It is recommended that short baths be done in a separate aquarium. After a long bath, change 30-50% of the water. For sensitive fish, it is recommended to use long baths with lower concentrations. When using higher salt concentrations in long baths, it is beneficial to divide the dose into parts (e.g., 3) administered every 12 hours. Exercise caution when used in the presence of sensitive plants.
