Pay attention to the dimensions and opening (Spanish sizing)

The fabric quality is good, but be mindful of the design for Greek standards. This Spanish duvet cover has the opening (the “tail”) on the 220 cm side. This means that if you place the duvet correctly across the width (240 cm, so two people can fit in a 160 cm bed), the opening ends up at the side of the bed rather than at the foot, and it has neither buttons nor a zipper to close it.

Thread Count

Thread Count

It refers to the number of threads per square inch of fabric. An average thread count ranges between 200 and 400, while quality duvet covers usually start at 300 and can reach 800 or more. In general, more threads mean a softer and more durable fabric, although beyond a certain point (e.g. 600+) the difference becomes less noticeable.
