The Farma Chem Avalon liquid fungicide contains pyrimethanil and has locally systemic action with translaminar movement. It acts preventively and curatively by inhibiting methionine biosynthesis and the secretion of hydrolytic enzymes by pathogens.
It is used to control botrytis in grapes, strawberries, tomatoes, eggplants and lettuce; sclerotinia in lettuce; scab in pome fruit; and brown rot in stone fruit.
