The helmet has the new European type "ECE 22.06" safety specification certification, which ensures that the helmet is tested at 18 impact control points instead of 6 as before. It is pinlock ready, which means that there is the possibility of installing an additional accessory for the visor that helps prevent fogging during the winter months. The anti-fog film is not included in the package. Additionally, it features a sun visor, which is an internal sunshade membrane, like glass, for protection from the sun.
