How to Choose the Correct Diameter
The diameter of the filter should match the diameter of your lens thread. This value is written on the lens or on the front cap, preceded by the symbol Ø (e.g., Ø67 means a 67mm thread). Select the filter variant with the same diameter.

Why Use a UV Protection Filter
The UV filter serves a dual purpose: it filters ultraviolet rays (reducing atmospheric haze and blue tones, especially at high altitudes or by the sea) and, most importantly for modern digital cameras, it naturally protects the front element of the lens.
