How to Choose the Correct Diameter
The filter diameter must match the thread diameter of the lens. This value is written on the lens or on the front cap, preceded by the symbol Ø (e.g., Ø67 means a 67mm thread). Choose the filter variant with the same diameter.

Why Use a Protective UV Filter
The UV filter serves a dual function: it filters ultraviolet rays (reducing atmospheric haze and blue tones, especially at high altitudes or near the sea) and, more importantly for modern digital cameras, naturally protects the front element of the lens.
