The Godox WMicS1 Pro Kit 1 is a wireless system specifically designed for mobile journalists, videographers, and vloggers. It includes a lavalier microphone and a dual-channel receiver that can also be used for a second microphone (available separately). It provides reliable transmission with clear audio at distances of up to 100 meters, offering a complete solution for streaming or recording dialogues, interviews, lectures, and speeches with a single speaker—directly to a mirrorless/DSLR camera, camcorder, or mixer.

The Pro version features full metal housings on the components, an improved OLED display that is easy to read in both bright and dark conditions, and adjustable antennas that allow for better positioning for improved reception.

The WMicS1 Pro Kit 1 includes a bodypack transmitter with an omnidirectional lavalier microphone. It also includes a receiver that mounts onto the hot shoe of a DSLR/mirrorless camera and connects to the camera’s audio input via the included 3.5mm TRS cable. The XLR output cable is for professional video cameras, and a 3.5mm TRRS cable is also included for use with mobile devices.

The system offers 96 UHF frequencies to avoid wireless signal interference. The transmitter and receiver operate with two AA batteries, but can also be powered via USB. If your camera does not have a headphone jack, you can monitor audio through the receiver’s 3.5mm headphone output while recording, to ensure you are capturing a clean signal.
