The 7Artisans Magnetic Filter Set includes five magnetic filters for controlling exposure and the light entering the lens: GND0.9, ND8, ND64, ND1000, and CPL. The GND0.9 helps balance exposure in bright sunlight and high-contrast scenes with a bright sky and darker ground. It reduces the light entering the upper part of the lens, enhancing cloud detail and color saturation. The CPL reduces reflections and glare from surfaces, while the ND filters allow for longer exposure times and motion-blur techniques.
The filters are made of aluminum and K9 optical glass. The multi-layer coating limits unwanted reflections, while the water- and oil-resistant coating makes cleaning easier. The set comes with a protective carrying case.
