CX80 sealing silicone is suitable for sealing components in machinery, heating appliances and engines exposed to high temperatures. It is resistant to oils and prolonged exposure to temperatures from -65 °C to +260 °C, and can withstand temperatures of up to +380 °C for short periods. As it cures with moisture in the air, it forms a flexible, durable, non-shrinking seal.
It is also used to seal fireplace casings, chimney flues and ventilation ducts, as well as to bond most surfaces, including glass, ceramics, aluminium and metal. It is UV-resistant and cures by acetoxy curing.
