Description

The Marriage of Figaro, along with The Barber of Seville and The Guilty Mother, make up the trilogy by Bohemarci that refers to the life and conduct of Count Almaviva.

In The Barber of Seville, Figaro is a mischievous but obedient servant, who comes up with a thousand ways to handle his master's romantic affairs. In The Marriage of Figaro, he changes and stands up to the Count, who claims the feudal right of the first night, in order to be with his future wife, the beautiful Suzanne, maid of the Countess.

Figaro challenges the Count's authority with words and actions, sets plots against him, and ultimately ridicules him. In The Guilty Mother, Bejar, a shadowy man and instigator of unrest, knowing secrets of the Almaviva family members, plans a catastrophe which ultimately fails thanks to Figaro's intervention.
