The Eko Guitars Aire 601 Lignum Natural is a six-string solid-body electric guitar with a double cutaway, designed to highlight the organic beauty of natural wood and offer broad tonal versatility. Its body is made of solid ash with a matte satin open-pore finish. The bolt-on neck is crafted from roasted maple with an ergonomic Low “C” profile, paired with a South American Roupanà fingerboard with a 12-inch radius and 24 frets. The electronics feature an HSS configuration with Wilkinson pickups and a push-pull tone control for coil-splitting the bridge humbucker. The hardware is completed by a Wilkinson two-point synchronized tremolo and locking tuners.

Ash Open-Pore Body Construction & Aire Ergonomics

The body is made from solid ash (Solid Ash), a wood known for its immediate acoustic response, clear highs, and tight bass. The Open Pore Satin finish keeps the wood’s grain and pores open, encouraging natural acoustic resonance without thick layers of lacquer. The double-cutaway design features deep contours on the back (belly cut) and where the arm rests, as well as a slim heel at the neck joint for unrestricted left-hand access up to the 24th fret.

Roasted Maple Neck & Roupanà Fingerboard

The neck is made from thermally treated maple (Roasted Maple), a process that removes moisture from the wood fibers, greatly increasing stability against humidity changes. It features a versatile Low "C" profile with a satin finish for smooth, fast hand movement. The South American Roupanà fingerboard has a 12" (305 mm) radius and a classic 25.5" (648 mm) scale length, and is fitted with 24 Medium Jumbo frets, offering a balanced feel and precision for bending techniques and fast runs.

Wilkinson HSS Electronics & Hardware with Locking Tuners

The electrical circuit combines two Wilkinson Single-Coil pickups in the neck and middle positions with a Wilkinson humbucker at the bridge. The 5-way blade selector, combined with the Push-Pull Coil-Split switch on the tone control, lets you split the bridge humbucker, expanding the available tonal options. The hardware setup features a Wilkinson 2-Point Tremolo and Locking Tuners, ensuring smooth tremolo-arm operation and excellent tuning stability.
