The Eko Guitars Fire 601 Lignum Natural is a six-string offset solid-body electric guitar, inspired by iconic models from the 1960s and enhanced with modern features. Its body is made from solid ash with an open-pore satin finish that highlights the wood’s natural grain. The bolt-on neck is made from roasted maple with an ergonomic Low "C" profile and is paired with a South American Roupanà fretboard featuring 24 frets. The electronics include two Wilkinson humbuckers with coil-splitting via a push-pull switch on the tone control. The hardware is rounded out with a two-point Wilkinson synchronized tremolo and locking tuners.

Ash Body Construction with Open-Pore Finish & Offset Geometry

The guitar body is based on the distinctive offset geometry of the Fire series and crafted from select solid ash (Solid Ash). Ash offers a dense acoustic response, pronounced midrange attack, and clear frequency separation. The Natural Satin Open Pore finish keeps the wood pores open without thick layers of lacquer, allowing the body to resonate freely and provide natural sustain. 

Roasted Maple Neck & Roupanà Fingerboard, 24 Frets

The neck is made from thermally treated maple (Roasted Maple), a process that removes residual moisture from the wood fibers, optimizing structural stability against temperature and humidity fluctuations. It is shaped to a slim Low "C" profile with a low-friction satin finish. The South American Roupanà fingerboard features a modern 12" (305 mm) radius, a 25.5" (648 mm) scale length, and 24 Medium Jumbo frets, making bends easier to play without unwanted fret buzz or notes choking out.

Wilkinson HH Electronics, Coil-Split & Support System

The electronics feature two Wilkinson humbuckers in an HH configuration, designed for high dynamic response, a full sound, and effective noise control. The Master Tone knob incorporates a Push-Pull Coil-Split switch, allowing you to instantly split the coils for clear, bright single-coil tones. The hardware includes a Wilkinson 2-Point Tremolo with steel saddles, which, combined with the Locking Tuners, provides precise return-to-pitch, smooth vibrato, and excellent tuning stability.
