The Reflecta Flatbed / Film Scanner digitizes 5 × 5 cm slides and 35 mm negative or positive film. It uses a CCD sensor and offers an optical resolution of 7200 × 3600 dpi, with 48-bit color depth and a scan density of 3.2 D. Film strips are advanced manually, while slides are scanned individually through the front slot.
The digital ICE function removes dust and scratches using infrared sensors and automatic software correction, but it does not work with Kodachrome film. The ROC function restores colors, while GEM manages the image. Scan time at 1800 dpi is 35 seconds.
