Peninsula is a challenging and strategic flip & write board game in which the map of a fictional island is drawn. Players draw symbols and place them on neighboring hexes of their architect, while also offering symbols to their opponents for them to draw.
The goal is to build infrastructure so that the architect can move more efficiently across the map and remain flexible. By drawing symbols that increase victory points, players fulfill the contracts they have placed on their plans, thereby satisfying the monarch of Peninsula.
The winner is determined by the points for the most efficient peninsula after the final symbol card has been dealt.
The game's innovative mechanism requires players to draw only on adjacent hexes to their architect, forcing them to move at the right time to the right place, otherwise they end up with limited options for new symbols.
