The GL.iNet Opal router (GL-SFT1200) supports Wi-Fi 5 and offers speeds of up to 300 Mb/s on the 2.4 GHz band and up to 867 Mb/s on the 5 GHz band. Its two external antennas and three Gigabit Ethernet ports support wireless and wired connections, while the device can serve up to 52 wireless devices simultaneously.

It supports repeater mode, connection via a 3G/4G USB modem, and tethering. To protect the connection, it supports the OpenVPN and WireGuard VPN protocols, as well as Cloudflare DNS over TLS. It runs a modified version of OpenWrt 18.06 and allows you to manage more than 5,000 add-ons and applications.
