Organic wheat (Triticum spelta) is an ancient cereal plant known in Europe and the Middle East for thousands of years. Often called the "ancestor" of modern wheat, it has been observed to be easily digestible, mild in flavor, and nutrient-rich. For making instant coffee, wheat grains are roasted to a dark color – a process that creates the characteristic roasted, aromatic flavor similar to coffee. After roasting, the grains are ground and dried into powder, ready for use. A daily dose of 2g provides a small amount of natural fibers (the product contains 15g of fiber per 100g).
