Ballistol Universal Oil was developed in 1904 and has been produced in Germany ever since with the same formula. All its active ingredients are highly pure, of biological origin, and fully biodegradable.

Its base oil has medical purity, is free from chlorinated hydrocarbons, and contains no animal-derived ingredients. It is free from silicone, PTFE, acids, and resins, and is safe according to §§ 30, 31 of the German Food Law and Regulation (EU) 1935/2004.

Suitable for the care and maintenance of machinery and equipment used in the food and beverage industry, where contact with products may occur.

Ballistol Universal Oil cleans, maintains, protects, preserves, and dissolves rust and residues such as resins from inappropriate oils. It can be used on wood, leather, stainless steel, iron, metal alloys, and oil-resistant rubber.

As a multi-purpose oil, it is versatile in professional and amateur workshops, industry, trade, cars and motorcycles, at home and in the garden, fishing, sports, skin care, and firearms maintenance.
