The AQUAPHOR K7BM filter is a combined disposable filter with a capillary membrane, compressed activated carbon from coconut shells, and natural coral dolomite. It is suitable for final purification, conditioning, and mineralization of water after filtration by reverse osmosis.

The filter improves the taste and odor of the water, supports its enrichment with calcium and magnesium ions, and provides an additional mechanical barrier against fine insoluble particles and microbiological contaminants down to 0.1 micrometer.

Key filter elements:

• Capillary microfiltration membrane — consists of a set of fine hollow fibers with pores down to 0.1 micrometer. Water and dissolved minerals pass through, while fine insoluble particles such as clay, microplastics, bacteria, algae, and cysts are mechanically retained.
• Activated carbon from coconut shells — improves the taste and odor of the water by reducing traces of organic compounds and unwanted aftertastes after the main filtration.
• Aqualen ion-exchange fiber — an AQUAPHOR development that helps reduce heavy metals in the water. The fiber works selectively and maintains its effectiveness even in harder water.
• Activated silver in ionic form — used in the filter to help limit the growth of microorganisms in the filter.
• Natural coral dolomite — thanks to its mineral composition, which contains calcium (Ca2+) and magnesium (Mg2+), it supports the remineralization of water after reverse osmosis. Calcium and magnesium contribute to a more balanced, soft, and pleasant taste.
