Bio Planet wheat flakes are inactive yeast flakes from organic farming, with a rich flavour and a slightly nutty, cheesy aftertaste. Heat treatment deactivates the yeast, so it does not cause fermentation and can be added directly to meals. They contain 30 g of protein and 17 g of fibre per 100 g.
Add them to sauces, spreads, pâtés, pasta, rice, salads, roasted vegetables and popcorn. They are not intended for baking and are not used as a leavening agent. Their ingredients include yeast, wheat flour and sea salt, all organically produced. They contain gluten and may contain peanuts, tree nuts, sesame and soy.
