Double Dragon Garden: Rise Of The Dragons for Nintendo Switch is an action game and 2D platformer featuring battles in a post-war New York City overrun by gangs. The story follows young Billy and Jimmy Lee as they attempt to drive the gangs out of the city. The roguelite structure offers a different experience with every attempt, as the order in which missions are selected affects their duration, the number of enemies, and their difficulty.
Players choose two fighters and switch between them to combine moves and attacks. Billy, Jimmy, Marian, and Uncle Matin are available from the start, while 20 additional characters with different play styles can be unlocked. Character upgrades are generated randomly and can be purchased at the end of each mission, while money can also be used to revive a character during a mission. Cooperative play supports up to two players, locally or online. The package contains a download code, not a game card. An internet connection and Ubisoft and Nintendo accounts are required to redeem it.
