What has been broken will be mended again.

Deep in the heart of the continent, Koschei the Deathless begins to stir. Although he has remained trapped in a mountain lake for millennia, the dark threat of his return is now spreading across all the lands of the fae, drawing powerful allies determined to reclaim what once belonged to them: the Mortal Lands.

The Night Court will not stand idle while innocent people are attacked. Yet, as Prythian continues to struggle to recover after the devastating war with Hybern, rallying its forces is proving increasingly difficult.

And as if that were not enough, those who rule and protect the Night Court are still struggling to recover from recent betrayals and the truths that have come to light. The rifts dividing them seem unbridgeable.

But to defeat the shadow of Koschei, which is steadily gaining ground, they must find the path that brings them together once more and revive their old alliances. To survive, they must find a way to restore the shattered harmony around them.
