Faber-Castell natural charcoal sticks (Pitt Monochrome / Pitt Natural Charcoal). 5–8 mm diameter, deep black, made by burning resin-free branches in the absence of air. They have a soft character that produces a uniform blue-black line. They are usually sold in packs of 12 and are suitable for sketching, drawing, and monochrome art.
