Rhythm of the World
Everyone in this world knew the goddess called Harmony, she who had flown into the heavens in search of a homeland until she saw their humble world—the Asphodel, a radiant flower in the midst of abyssal darkness. It is said that she loved it so much that she granted it the power of song, built cities for its people, and even became mortal to live among them as an equal. For most of the planet, the First Order endures as guardian of the story of the Good Lady, and villages like Leran still preserve her ancient melodies in their breath. But in the imposing city of Dis, her name has long been used in vain—until even her song vanished from hearing and, long ago, from memory.
Conflict
The founding of DisCorp 160 years ago was considered the true founding of the city of Dis. However, with the rise of this spiraling metropolis came the fall of the Asphodel: as the city rerouted energy lines to enrich itself, crops grew rotten and people developed strange disorders. The appearance of the Aenian Disorder was one of many trumpets heralding the end. As our heroes descend into Dis, they must reach its depths to uncover the truth before the world consumes itself.
The Great Archive
In this world blessed by the Goddess Harmony, the heroes will find their wills challenged by their emotions as their divine cantata draws them into the depths of the nightmare Tower of Dis. Whether they follow the ghost of a man believed to have died long ago, a celestial command, or an ancient song, it becomes clear to all that fear and desire are two sides of the same coin, and that the road paved with good intentions can lead to hell. When the final trumpet sounds, only their hearts will decide whether they can seize salvation or burn in a brilliant flame.
