Pursanit Cer-e 100 cation exchange resin is used exclusively in water softeners. It comes in yellow-gold-orange granules and is supplied in a 25 L bag. Its lifespan depends on usage, water quality, regeneration frequency, and the quality of the regeneration salt.
For proper operation and a long service life, the water reaching the resin must be filtered using compressed polypropylene filters. If the source water contains iron or manganese, it must be treated to remove them, as they can stain the resin and make it unsuitable for use. The resin is regenerated with salt tablets that are at least 99.9% pure. When replacing the resin, check the upper and lower screens on the central pipe inside the fiberglass tank.
