The EmersonGear® Chest Rig to Vest Adapter Kit allows easy attachment of a chest rig onto a vest or plate carrier, eliminating the need to transfer pouches and gear each time from one platform to another. This way, the same operational load can be used:

• as a standalone chest rig, for freedom of movement and low weight,
• or attached onto the plate carrier when ballistic protection is required.

The transition from one configuration to the other is done quickly via quick-release clips. The straps attach to the MOLLE or shoulder straps of both the chest rig and the plate carrier, creating the corresponding connection points. The four side clips stabilize the chest rig on the carrier, while the two upper clips provide the main suspension.
