The Delphin MAMUT NXT 12T DP is the successor of a legendary fishing reel, known for its features both in catfish fishing and bait retrieval during shore fishing trips. The new MAMUT NXT model carries improvements based on experiences from previous production.
The most significant change lies at the heart of the mechanism, where an innovative gear system with a stainless steel shaft offers reliability in battles with the largest freshwater fish. The gear ratio is 3.8:1, combined with 7 stainless steel bearings, ensuring exceptionally smooth and quiet operation.
The reel features the "Power Drag" braking system, which offers a maximum holding power of 20 kg, thanks to the increased carbon fiber discs. The designed rotor contributes to the precise placement of the line, whether single or braided, over distances of hundreds of meters.
The high strength metal spool has a large capacity, ideal for using large amounts of line. All components have been selected with excellent durability and reliability in mind, even under the toughest conditions. The sturdy metal handle features ergonomic rubber that ensures comfort in grip.
