The Yuasa YTX16 AGM battery is suitable for a wide variety of motorcycles, scooters, jet skis, and quads. It has a capacity of 14 Ah and a starting current (CCA) of 230 A.
In AGM batteries, the electrolyte is absorbed in fiberglass mats. This reduces electrical resistance and allows the battery to be installed in any position. Thanks to the low electrical resistance, AGM batteries can provide a higher peak voltage compared to conventional lead-acid batteries. At the same time, they are nearly maintenance-free and leak-proof, offering additional safety, for example, in off-road use or in case the motorcycle tips over.
For battery installation, the terminal arrangement (+LL) should be taken into account. The Yuasa AGM YTX16 is pre-filled, charged, and ready to use, so no separate acid pack is required.
