In World of Final Fantasy Maxima for Xbox One, siblings Reynn and Lann explore the world of Grymoire, searching for their past and trying to save the future. Players collect hundreds of Mirage creatures, evolve them, and combine them into stacks for strategic battles, making use of their sizes and elements.
Evolving Mirages unlocks new abilities and mirajewels that enhance the protagonists’ skills, while transforming them can lead to new, more powerful forms. Some Mirages also help players move through the landscapes and overcome obstacles in vertically designed dungeons. Familiar heroes from the FINAL FANTASY universe appear throughout the adventure.
