The Hoya Prond Ex 1000 filter is an ND filter for photographic lenses that reduces the amount of light passing through the lens by 10 stops. For outdoor video, it allows you to set the shutter speed according to the frame rate while maintaining the desired depth of field. When shooting moving subjects, it helps create motion blur. In photography, it allows for longer exposure times or a shallow depth of field in bright sunlight.
ACCU-ND technology reduces light equally across the visible and infrared spectrums, preventing color shifts in different outdoor conditions. The filter has 72 mm threads on both the front and rear, allowing additional ND filters, a screw-on lens cap, or another filter to be attached to the front.
