The GL.iNet Flint 3e router combines dual-band Wi‑Fi 7 with four 2.5 Gigabit LAN ports and one WAN port. It supports over 100 devices simultaneously, while MLO, 4K QAM, Multi-RU Puncturing and Preamble Puncturing technologies improve bandwidth usage and interference management. It features a 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor, 1 GB of DDR4 memory and an OpenWrt-based system.

Four foldable external antennas and six FEM modules provide coverage of up to approximately 232 m². Multi-WAN supports failover and load balancing, while the LAN1 port can be configured as a second WAN port. The USB 3.0 port enables file and printer sharing, 4G/5G connectivity, and the use of a storage device as a home NAS or media server.

The VPN can operate as a client or server for WireGuard and OpenVPN, with support for policy-based routing and Tor. OpenWrt offers router, access point, repeater and WDS modes, as well as options such as DHCP, PPPoE, IPv6, port forwarding, DMZ, ZeroTier and Tailscale. Network management is supported via the GL.iNet app, the Web Admin Panel and GoodCloud. Security features include AdGuard Home, parental controls and guest network isolation.
